The Brave Buddy Therapy Dog Pack
Teams need BBSP membership, a Canine Good Citizen title, and compliance with program policies. The published commitment is two two-hour visits monthly. Keep visit records, attend relevant training, arrive promptly, and notify BBSP of cancellations. Be courteous and professional; refer concerns to the coordinator.
HEALTH REQUIREMENT
At registration and annual renewal, submit a veterinary health assessment, examination within the preceding year, current Rabies, Bordetella and DHLPP records, and a recent fecal examination. Submit vaccination updates promptly.
No visits following vomiting, diarrhea, communicable-disease symptoms, open wounds, pain, or injury within 24 hours. Dogs in season cannot participate.
Report illness, accident, or disability preventing visits for over two weeks; veterinary re-examination and health clearance are required before return.
Before visits: groom, trim and file nails, clean teeth/ears/eyes, check health, exercise, and toilet your dog. Follow facility bathing requirements. Retain the existing 48-hour topical-treatment rule pending veterinary/product review.
