Founded in 2017, Brave Buddy Service Pups, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization headquartered in Willowick, Ohio.

The organization was established to improve lives through the partnership between professionally trained dogs and the individuals and communities they serve. Brave Buddy Service Pups provides structured training for service dogs, therapy dogs, and their handlers while promoting emotional wellness, public education, community outreach, and responsible canine handling throughout Northeast Ohio.

Since its founding, Brave Buddy Service Pups has remained committed to developing highly trained canine teams that serve with purpose, professionalism, and compassion. The organization prepares dogs and handlers not only for traditional service and therapy work but also for environments requiring exceptional temperament, advanced obedience, emotional stability, public-access reliability, and strong handler awareness.

Recognizing that healing extends beyond hospitals and traditional healthcare environments, Brave Buddy Service Pups has continued to develop programs that strengthen communities, foster meaningful human connections, and provide support during challenging circumstances.

Through collaborative relationships with judicial institutions, healthcare providers, veteran organizations, community agencies, and Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, Brave Buddy Service Pups has developed a strong foundation in canine-assisted emotional support and public service.

One of the organization’s most recognized partnerships is its work with Cleveland Hopkins International Airport through the Hopkins Hounds Therapy Dog Program. This collaboration has demonstrated the positive impact professionally trained therapy dog teams can have in reducing traveler anxiety, supporting airport personnel, welcoming visitors, and creating a compassionate airport experience.

 Today, Brave Buddy Service Pups continues to build upon its founding mission through specialized training, strategic partnerships, community education, and an unwavering commitment to service.
